Buffs are extremely difficult to grade especially the earlier dates. you cannot go by just one marker for grading. understanding what was happening at each of the mints in those years is critical. unmatched dies, extreme die polishing, strike issues all must be considered. if you are collecting these then I suggest studying them especially before laying out any high $$ amounts on them. in the case of this coin I believe its pretty straight forward for grading this one. fortcollins here on CCF is probably the most knowledgeable on this series. if you have some time click members in the top bar and search his name then select TOTAL POSTS and scroll through some of his comments on Buffs. you will learn a lot i have this one at F12 Report this Post to the Staff
