Enyaw Valued Member Canada 458 Posts	Posted 09/18/2023 09:47 am I asked my bank if they had received any "mutilated" banknotes from customers and she went to the back and came out with $1,000 of uncirculated $5, $20 and $50 bird notes. These were the best of the lot. It was a pleasant surprise to say the least! Report this Post to the Staff

I asked my branch (a few times) to look at their mutilated pouch/file & each time the teller asked a head teller or assistant manager. These supervisors looked at me as if I was asking to sleep overnight in their vaults. One time a nice teller was going to get some old notes from their file (as a customer had dumped some old ones with him) & the supervisor intervened/stopped him.
