1985 Lincoln Penny Error In The Shape Of A Cross (Please Help, Noob Needs Help)

chumpchange8773 New Member Canada 1 Posts	Posted 12/16/2023 04:25 am hello, I need help identifying this penny error that I found in the pocket of a coat that I was donating to the goodwill. I'm from Canada and don't know anything about this sort of thing except that it possibly could be quite a find with religious overtones if it turns out to be an error from the minting process. any and all help or advice would be greatly appreciated. here are the pics I took and if more are needed just ask and I'll provide. thx in advance Report this Post to the Staff

It is somewhat common for us to see things stamped on a coin, but it isn't typical to see someone having removed a cutout and then filled it back in. It isn't worth a numismatic premium, but I'd probably keep it as a novelty.
