PCGS - This isn't your average 1922. With a die crack under Liberty's nose resembling a mustache, this Peace dollar has the popular Moustache VAM variety, giving the coin an unforgettable look and name.
I just can't get into Peace VAMs. There are literally over 100 different varieties for this year/Mint alone. Once it gets up that high I just want to see some better quality control.
The Early Die State are Sweet, While The Late Die Stages are Intense, VAMS are Another " Collectible " I have Long Entertained. Die breaks are Plentiful in this Series, The Obverses are More Common, IMO, The Reverses While Less Breaks, Tail-On the O, Broken Wing, ....
That is a cool VAM but have never been into the Peace dollars in general, they are right up there with 1921 Morgans, just don't care for them for some reason....
