SP67 Valued Member Canada 234 Posts	Posted 04/01/2025 5:35 pm Unusual 1977 5 cent coin with a large strike-through grease mark. Probably my best one ! The coin appears unusual because some features seem doubled. Upon closer inspection of the obverse, you can see that "D.G." and some letters of Elizabeth are doubled. This is a result of a struck through floating encrustation, which is compact grease that receive multiple strikes and shift a little bit between each of them.
