Theoretical Questions About Bundling Errors.

Joshcheapcoin New Member United States 5 Posts	Posted 05/02/2025 01:26 am Theoretically let's say I have 3 2023 uncirculated dimes (never touched by hands without gloves) that show an error die chip/break getting worse with each coin... IE... A small die chip on on a leaf edge (top, left, middle leaf) on reverse of first coin, then that dot with the curve of the leaf turned to a 45 or so angle with the dot still on the edge of said leaf, then the dot (now bigger) and leaf edge out even more. Showing the progression of the error with each coin. Would I want to keep those 3 coins together as an error progression set? Would I get something like that graded? Report this Post to the Staff

I'm not saying that there is a numismatic premium, but rather it is just interesting to see how the die used to strike the coins got more and more damaged over time. Someone did something similar with the so-called hornet's nest die chip and created a *gif couple years back.
