I was stoked to get this circulated cherrypick in the mail today. The main identifying marker is very recognizable, so I thought I would give our marker pros a chance to guess at the denomination, year, and variety. =)

Brand, you threw me with the pic. With the date, I first had an 8 in mind, did not even think about a 6, so it took me a few more minutes to than expected. Very nice pick and doubled die though that you brought to light for me, thank you.

Here I thought the photo supplied was a shot of the entire coin, had me thinking maybe some kind of French coin with a large Cud. After a few minutes decided to scroll down and click on makecents link.

edited: I see it now UScoin forum, in my defense I just click on the titles on the 100 New Topics page.
