Brandmeister Pillar of the Community United States 6483 Posts	Posted 05/05/2026 11:32 am Cherrypicked on ebay in circulated condition, a specimen of 1946-S 5¢ FS-101. The doubling on Liberty is faded, but it can be readily seen on the oddly wide star and the right side of the date digits. This die is known for a hubbed in wire, which produces a raised replica of the wire in Jefferson's ponytail. Report this Post to the Staff
