1970 Lincoln Penny With Unknown Design In Front Of The Portrait.

Hi all. This 1970 penny has this particular unknown pattern in front of the Lincoln portrait. Thinking that it could be some dirt or grimes, I washed it with water and yet the pattern remained there. It is slightly raised.Atthe recerse there is also some markings, which I am not sure. Hope someone could help identify it. Will appreciate all your helps. Tq.

It's just some kind of staining. Not an error. Worth 1 cent.

Overkill on the photos, one of each side and maybe a closeup would be sufficient.
As far as your cent goes, there is nothing there that can be considered an error
so it is damage. Exactly what caused it doesn't matter.
