unfortunately I do not know how to quote people on here yet, @mdp- I currently work at a bank and we have a coin counter at my branch. I take home a bag a week on average, either dimes or quarters and then redeposit them the next day. I usually pick them up on tuesday or wednesday due to the fact that the feds come and pick up on thursday.
An easy way to try this at any bank is to just say, especially if you have a current box order, instead of buying boxes of coins at a time, is there anyway that I may purchase a bag of coins from your counter instead once it is full. This way neither me or you (teller) has to worry about rolling coins and keeping the rolls afterward. You just redump and let them ship the bag to the feds. (THEY LIKELY HAVE MORE THAN ONE BAG TO SHIP AT A TIME, SO AS LONG AS YOU MAKE IT BACK BY THERE SEND DAY TO THE FEDS, THEY SHOULDNT COMPLAIN). Just make sure there will be no fees involved, otherwise it may not be of best interest when having to drop them back in the counter.
I appreciate the questions, if you have anymore just let me know :)
@murrellington - Exactly right sir!

Box number 13 yielded 4 silver. That's the best I've found, otherwise average 1 per box.

Did $60 and got nothing. I might try to get my first ever box in the next week or so and then see if I can start ordering a box every week or two.

First box of dimes today...one silver 1964. Also found what I think is a filled die...the ME is missing from the back...not really a Cud, so I guess it is filled.
