Curious as to which 9 you need Ricardocody?

By the way, I live in san diego where s mint cents and nickels are very prevalent. But with dimes so far I have found 90 silvers, 3 of which were s mint.

wow sich, nice finds! Great silver average. And that's crazy that you got 3 mercs in that many boxes. I have found 3 mercs in 67 boxes. My average for those bad boys is very low unfortunately.

And I have 22 holes left to fill, but have filled 3 of the holes you need.

Quick question if someone can help.

Are all "S" mint dimes from proof sets as is the case with halves?

My local bank happened to have two boxes today from Brinks in plastic wrapping. I will try to post what I see.

The one I found in the roll is a 1989-S and from the view, it is clearly clad.

So, is it a proof simply by the San Francisco mint mark?

46-55s are not proofs, 68s to date are, some are silver proofs.

Thank you Biggfreed. I will put the new proof in a folder and add it to others.

Also, I found a 1979-D nickel in change today with a mirror reflection to it. I think it was part of an uncirculated set.

My first two boxes of dimes are clear wrapped rolls from Brinks.

From edge searching with my coin loupe, I do not see any silver. I am wondering if I should break them all down anyway.
