okiepb Pillar of the Community United States 1213 Posts	Posted 10/19/2010 11:17 pm DVCollector, THANK YOU VERY MUCH! Your secondary marker image helped me confirm that I've got a Wide 1998 P cent. I kept looking at it and comparing it to a normal Close one, and couldn't determine because there is a dirt speck that is in the gap between the A and M. Now that I have that marker, I know what I've got. One more question - isn't the 1998 a rarer variety than the 1999 or 2000? Or is that wishful thinking? Report this Post to the Staff
still lookin Pillar of the Community 967 Posts	Posted 10/20/2010 06:54 am The 1999 is by far the harder to find. I have found about equal amounts of both 1998 and 2000 and both of these I have found about 6 times more than I have found the 1999. Report this Post to the Staff

I've also found some worn dies that show a gap, but the secondary markers confirmed there were not WAM's. Report this Post to the Staff

Scooby Due Pillar of the Community United States 4000 Posts	Posted 10/24/2010 6:36 pm plantlouse, can you get a closer picture of the designers initials? That would be a key indicator. If the initials match those of a regular '93-'08, you have a Close AM. Report this Post to the Staff
