These two seem to be good enough for me to see everything I need but have to admit most of the coins I look at are Morgans which are pretty good sized so others may have better options for other series of coins that may be smaller Report this Post to the Staff

I purchased about 10 of them for $1 each. Some were about 2X and some 14X. I use all of them for something or other. I take a 4X and a 10X to coin shows. Depending on your eyes, you could simply look around for the type of glasses you wear with 3X magnification which is decent for normal coin shows or shops. Report this Post to the Staff

nybird Valued Member United States 459 Posts	Posted 12/27/2010 12:12 pm I agree with John1, I use 10x for everyday stuff and a BandL 14x for varieties on Canadian Large cents, then there is always the microscope as needed. The BandL 14x is very tiny, but works great, still it is hard to get past how small it is... they say that is the price you pay for higher power. Report this Post to the Staff
