They made Liberty look like Rue McClanahan. Now I can't look at a Morgan without thinking that.

Some enameled coins such as those mentioned by Sel can be quite nice. This one is not!

There IS a differnce between pad printing onto coins and the hand enamelling of coins.
For pad printing to work the skill of a mint is needed to produce the high quality of NCLT issues.
Equally, there is a tremendous amount of talent and skill needed to produce high quality enamelling on coins.
Consider some of the works of Faberge.

IF that had been attractive work, it would have made for a neat con. I have seen many enameled and lazered coins that look absolutely awesome. Its a common date Morgan, so why not? Just that thing looks awful.

It does look like Rue McClanahan  The eyeshadow is bad. I have a colorized ASE but it looks much better than this one. |
