Have a look that close at the mint mark, just to be sure, but I think you have the obverse nailed.

Yeah, given the incompleteness of the available information, I think I'd settle on VAM-3 for this one. I don't see any S/S, and a filled S mint mark is a common-enough thing that no mention in the description is not a red flag.

Wow, great coin. I would never have guessed it from the original scans that you posted. The coin looked artificial in those. Looked at your youtube also, it's a stunner, congratulations.

No, I never did get the coin graded mainly because of the cost.

I took a couple more pictures of the coin, and I had better luck capturing the cameo finish of the coin. Still not quite as good as "in hand" but it's getting there.  |
