The degree of off centering of this coin is quite rare. The problem with pricing is demand. A similar coin, certified, is being offered on ebay for 350 (a fair price) for some weeks already, with no takers. As I was told by a Canadian expert: twoonies are coins for 25 years from now.

Throw it on ebay and let everyone in this post know it's there. I'm sure you'll fetch a nice amount for it.

NO! Try to sell it now and you will get at least 5 times LESS what it really worth - for the rarity and eye appeal. I have coins with similar degree (and a little more). They are on PCGS holders with instructions to my heirs to sell them only after 35-40 years of the issue date. Lesser off-centres and circulated coins are common. Throw it on ebay and I will fetch it for a nice amount.

OP said she's looking for a buyer and she can't sell on this website. I don't think she wants to wait 20 more years. I think that's where she'll get the best price if she lets everyone here know its listed

I just thought that would be her best bet to sell. Maybe after your posts she will decide to keep it.

Spectacular! I've never seem one like it. Get it slabbed, has to be worth a couple hundred at least.

A Lighthouse hard coin holder is fine. You don't need to grade/slab it to sell it - the error speaks for itself...

I'm sorry, I don't understand what "TPGed" or "slabbed" means. Thank you to everyone for all their suggestions. In your opinions, is ebay or direct sale the best way to offer the coin for sale?

"third party grading" = stabbing. Sending the coin to a company who will certify the error and put the coin on a special (sealed) case. The cost for doing it , varies from 15 to 60 bucks. google PCGS or search "certified coin" on ebay to see more. If you know how much YOU want for the coin, go for direct sale. If not, auction.

I still think ebay is the best route to sell it. Start it at .99 cents. Just let everyone here know. These are the people that will want to buy it. I'm sure it will go over $250. All it takes is 2 interested people and lots have chimed in at how nice it is.

Seriously, that is one of the coolest errors I've seen.
