@tristen1230 The only way to have done that is to buy from a bank or the Mint before April 2012, not many people did. Currently $190+ for loonie roll and $240+ for toonie roll on ebay. I guess when the report comes out we'll find out if that's realistic. ;)

But, that is my point, the mintages will show much higher numbers than what actually exists as a surviving population...

I dont think anyone will be disappointed in the penny mintage. Everyone knows it is expected to top 300,000,000.

I found both magnetic and non magnetic in change (when we were still getting pennies in change). Pennies that is.

I found lots of 2012 pennies, of course they're not rare, I don't think anyone ever said they were. But the loons and toons are a different story.

Yes, I did find 15/2500 2012 pennies when I was roll hunting, but definately not in change.

Does the report cover new information on older mintages-- such as the 2006 magnetic,no logo, no mint plain 1 cent piece ( Worth $100 )

The RCM is the factory that makes our coinage. If they do not know what they are producing---we need another factory.

As far as the RCM is concerned, those specific pieces from 2006 would be production errors.... how on earth could they document that? We are lucky enough that they differentiate the zinc versus steel plated planchets - because ultimately those reports are for the financial records....

Given RCM's typical delays, I think we can safely assume it will be out by... the end of the year!

Just wondering because last year it came out at the end of march.
