Thanks guys... I really appreciate the feedback and I think I'm going to jump on the deal... I agree with Foxwoods on the fun of hunting and building slowly. In this case, this is a coin and series that I really love and I can (at least in my mind) rationalize buying the set to save time and money. Of course that time and money gets poured into my life long addiction to Mercury dimes, Liberty Walking halves, Linclon Cents...

Remember Bama, it's all up to you whatever you want to do. I would buy it if I didn't want to hunt for them one at a time. It might be a little higher then what most people pay, but if you want them then get it.

Doug... That's a great deal if it includes the two anniversary sets... Does it?

Yeah... the 27 pieces should have dawned on me sooner. It sure would have been a blockbuster deal with the Anniversary sets.

It would have been a heck of a deal with the RPs in there for sure. I dont imagine it would have lasted long with all of those included

I always prefer the thrill of the hunt. You never know what's to be found in the nect store or auction.

Ebay, you can grab most of them for 60 each. I've even picked a couple up for $40ish...they were very lucky though!

yeah if you look for deals on each coin individually you can get them cheaper.

Thanks guys.... you've made the decision a lot harder than I thought it would be. Lots of great thoughts and ideas in the thread. If I were in my 30's, I might think about looking around. I'm in my early 50's and if I wait too long... I'll forget what I was doing and never get to enjoy the set. ")
