Beautiful. I was just looking at these halfpennies as I have a well worn one that I cannot make the date out on (I hate not being able to date a coin!). Nice addition.

Very beautiful. And I believe these originals are actually rarer than the contemporary counterfeits?
Ironically, though, the British stopped production of regal halfpennies in 1775, so this coin was not being minted at the time of the signing of the Declaration of Independence!

Beautiful halfpenny - none of my 1770-5 ones are as nice as that!
They are common in Good to Fine but you don't see them often with lustre...
