What effigy is on the front. You can at least narrow down your search. If it is George VI then I would go with a 2. If it is Elizabeth then a 3, 8, or 9.

It's an Elizabeth, so would have to be 1953 or after. It is interesting what comes out with the photography on this one.

Interesting how the 1 ish line in the first pic does not show up at all in that "special scan"..
How does that scan show so much porosity when compared to the regular closeup photo....?

It's clearly a 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8, or 9. Pick one and you have a one in ten chance of being correct! haha

Actually, I do see a little smiley face and figure in that scan where the last # should be.
