I would say AU53 due to the wear on the wings leading edge and on Liberty's hair. Really nice Type I. She's a looker!

XF45 but AU50 would be no surprise. That's a really nice Seated $1.

I'm at EF45 but any low to mid range AU grade would not surprise me.

I really do not think that PCGS would grade this coin in the AU range, bit too much wear for that. EF45. In the British grading system, VF.

First thought was AU50, so I'll stick with it.

I see definite wear on Liberty's breast, head, and thigh as well as on the eagle's head and wing edges. Most luster in the fields has been degraded from friction, with traces remaining in between letters and around devices (like the arrowheads). Some hairlines are visible in the right obverse field but apparently they did not raise a flag at PCGS. There appears to be some very light porosity or roughness in the left obverse field around star #3 which looks a bit like environmental damage.
My grade for this very decent piece is XF-45. Perfect for a circulated type coin!

I'll post the grade later on tonight. I had some difficulty photographing this one with my cheap digital camera. The coin definitely looks better in hand than in my photos.
Thanks for the comments. Joe2007

Perhaps I was a little too genoerous (I stated AU53) with the premise that if yours was a AU53, mine would be a AU55. Nice problem-free Dollar nevertheless!
