billfrak... at first I was trying to get a few BMO notes and at least one note from every bank that almalgamated with it.... Then I came across an international bank of canada $5 note that had some cattle on it.. and I just fell in love! It just depicts what life was like back then. To me it's art and a picture of history.

Here's pics: Not a bad note overall, just one crease in the middle.

Nice notes WERT! I particularly like the $1! For me personally I prefer the solid or "almost" solid serial # as opposed to the radars.
I just started looking for funky serial # from circulation bank notes lately and came upon that 50 yesterday. I hope to find more. Now I understand about "the hunt", and the excitement it brings.

Ya..it drives me and my wife crazy looking at every bill and every coin..funny thing is my wife hands me everything before she spends it..haha...P.S. someone around the Hamilton area must be unloading their coin collection..found a MS 1968 quarter...1964 MS nickel .etc.

My daughter is in Hamilton! I'll ask her to keep her eyes open! She was home during Xmas and suddenly started having an interest in my coin collection. Good way to get her interested in a great hobby!

Good idea...keep her looking..especially change from Tim Hortons...thats where I got mine..Matter of fact 6 months ago I got a counterfeit 2004 tonnie from Tims...SPP was kind enough to re route it to the R.C.M.P. for me.

Having had such a "hunting" interest when she was working at Tim's here in Ottawa a few years ago, I would have gotten her to hunt for me.
I think I remember reading about your twonie a while back on this site. I wonder if any more twonies were discovered since.
