You could make it you wallpaper and select stretch? that doesn't work. Email me and I'll send you a wider image.

I find that while I am letting my eyes see the three dimensional image if I move the cursor over the image it appears to be floating a distance above the three dimensional image. (although I do see two cursors, both of which seems to be floating between me and the images.)

And thank you Coop. This makes me want to get back into making them again sometime. I think jbuck would agree with me when I say an Ike one would look great! If I had a way to retrieve the old files off hard drive sitting on a shelf I could pull up some of the ones I made (old Commodore AMIGA computer system). But mine had some that just looked random until you converge or cross your eyes ... then a message or picture popped up. I like your penny in 3D better

Here is another one I just made today: A little tougher to see, but it looks like 3 columns in front?

I picked 50 of the best out of the 500 I've created so far. The one that looks like a red tire; the center of the wire wheel was from the number '7' in several rows. So easy to get deep in to this once you get started. I use some as backgrounds for images. Some have wondered how I create these. Well I start off with a strange design: I use Photoshop program and use the 'filter' function and choose 'distort' then select polar coordinates. This changes the first image into this: Then I edit the background with a duplicate and change the color to 4 squares of purple to black with the purple color in the center, black on the edges. Then use the 'filter' and choose again 'distort' then 'spherize', making a purple circle with black corners. Then move the 2nd image over the third image that makes it look like this: Hot spherize and again. Make a duplicate, and reduce the size so that 25 of these will fill the image and move them on to the copy. It looks like this: Then I add texture to the blacked areas and there you have a stereogram.

Very interesting. Thank you for the step by step instructions. It's a pretty involved process. I can understand how creating these could suck you in for hours.
