LOL at how the guesses changed after your post. I'm guessing it's a 66 but I like it more as a 65+. Frost breaks on the Eagle should hold it out of 66 territory for me. I don't think it's PL but it may very well carry the designation, NGC seems to be far more relaxed on that front than PCGS these days.

Why prolong the agony?... Here's what the pros from Dover (aka NGC) gave this one... The obverse has great mirrors.

Outstanding coin PG ... I was going to guess MS67* ... but you beat me to it. Some of us have to work for a living ... can't get to threads in only 8 hours. David

Eh, dunno if I like that as a 67. As long as you're happy with it.

Quote: I guess I was being way too conservative, not knowing the overall very high quality of your collection! I think it's more my photography skills than your expertise at grading. I'll put a few more up in the coming days in varying states of yumminess. PG

its a nice looking coin for sure, but I would not have guessed 67 either. I am guessing the "*" is referring NGC saying that one side is PL and the other isn't. Is it the obverse that is PL?

@Johnny.. I agree with you on the "*". The obverse is very PL and frosty - the reverse, not so much.
