Poor photos. Will refrain from judging.

Short answer, no. Not from the photos anyway.
I just don't get CAC. Aren't they meant to be for especially nice coins? Well that one seems to have splotchy, uneven toning which to me has no 'eye appeal' at all.
Sorry. But you did ask.

Quote: I think it's just the angle of the photograph... at a glance it looks like '26, but I can see '39.

No disrespect intended ... The photographs you posted in no way justify an MS68/CAC coin. I see a splotchy toned coin which I am unable to make out the date. Better photos of this supposed lovely Mercury dime are indeed needed. David

It's a 1939 D.
Something don't seem right... is this a Chinese fake? The CAC sticker shouldn't be dull.

I looked it up in the NGC Certification Verification and it came up with 1939-D MS-68 Mercury dime. It is a real slab.

Keep in mind... anyone can copy the numbers too.
Is this your coin? If so, any chance of better pictures?

I looked it up in the NGC Certification Verification and it said it was a 1939-D 10c at MS-68. It is the real slab.
But judging by what other members said, the coin could have been switched out.
(PS. Maybe it was your pictures. We will need better ones to find out!)

I think when I rotated the pic, it may have affected the resolution. Here are unrotated pics. The CAC sticker was from last year when I submitted. Whether or not you agree with the grading, it was deemed MS-68 by both NGC and CAC.

Yes, this my coin, the sticker is green. I will try to take new pics in the next day or so. Obviously it was not switched out since I personally submitted to CAC last year. I am pretty sure I do not have gremlins in my home!

I can't say I'm particularly impressed, I woudl expect much much more form an MS-68

Buy the coin, not the holder.
I think that there are many more MS63 Mercury's with better "eye appeal"
Now there may not be a bag mark or smudge on that coin but at MS68 CAC I would expect it to either be shiny blast white or Monster toned diluting any mint luster.

Man, I just don't see it being a 68. Curious to see the new photos.

Must be the photos, need professional coin photos! Appearance of toning?
