Congrats on the accomplishment!

If you like unc. coins, the later dates can be bought for around $8-10 each. They are not too expensive, but they look great.

Thanks for all of the feedback. I just couldn't resist finishing this up, just purchased a 1927-D on ebay to get it done.
Excellent!

Glad to hear it's finished...Congrats~! Since that was my very first set, I haven't ever changed a thing. I don't have any desire at all to upgrade it. Way to go!!

One thing I don't like about Dansco, is those empty slots at the end. Makes me wonder why they do that.
Well, it is fairly obvious why they do that. It is not practical to punch out pages with less than a full set of holes. If a particular series does not have enough coins to fill complete pages you will have extra unlabeled holes. It does not make sense from a manufacturing point of view to have a large variety of partially punched pages for different denominational series' when it is not necessary.

It would only raise the price of the albums. Personally, the extra holes do not bother me. They give me an opportunity to be creative.

Congrats on finishing this set.

Alas, I am in the same boat as many others lacking the 1916-D. I'll acquire it some day.

Your set condition wise reminds me of the 1892-1915 Barber half and 1916-1947 Walking Liberty half dansco albums I just finished. No AU or Unc coins were allowed.

Good job! You are almost there.

Double Eagle- those two sets are on my to do list and very partially complete at this point though I do already have the keys to the Walking set. I'd love to see some pics of your half sets for inspiration!!

The Barbers range from AG - VG, the Walkers from AG-XF, Franklins are all various levels of circulated, the Kennedys are AU. See if I can do somewhat respectable pics. Send me an email if you are interested in seeing them so I don't hafta chop and slice down the pics...lol.

I hafta admit I cheated on the SLQ dansco which I am working on presently. I put a 1916 Philly Barber in the 1916 slot. Not serious enough about the series to go chasing a $3-5k coin. Same for my Mercury dime set in a Whitman folder. I used the 1916-D slot for a reverse design, instead of the 1916-D.
