Oh yeah, VAMworld said that they eliminated it... whoops. It's just the EDS of 1AE. But what is with the Die Dot?

Then we agree.

The dot is a unique feature of some 1921's from all 3 mints, including this VAM:

64ish, I think, and probably a waste of slabbing money unless you want to take a chance and flip it. Toned 1921's are extremely rare, and although yours isn't "beautiful" by average Morgan standards, it ain't bad for 1921 and you stand a chance of finding a buyer who would give you a premium for the color.

OTOH the TPG might disagree on the originality of that color. It's the risk you'd take.

It looks original from my standpoint because they are not vibrant colors that you usually associate with AT, and it's not a solid color, kind of broken up in places, but I wouldn't completely dismiss the possibility.

After seeing it out of the mylar, I'm going with MS62/63 range, the scratches/hits on the cheek will really hurt the grade.

I think the coin is definitely 63 with a good shot at 64. Looks to have original luster and toning which is a plus and I don't find the marks too distracting

Now that I've seen it out of the flip with better pics I'm more in the 63 boat with a slight chance at 64, just too many marks on the obverse that wern't visible before.. Too bad as the reverse is stunning! Great coin!

He's been a member for just 3 days. Really? You felt the need to report him? Come on CHD.. Let the moderators handle this. He's new and he doesn't need a non moderator playing forum police. They'll send him a note regarding reviving old posts. Let them do what they do best.

We have a new member, we should be excited about what he/she can bring to the table. Not come off as big brother keeping everyone in line.
