Very sweet coins Viper great job in hunting them down are you die matching out of Rob Turner book like I'm doing?. Just love the curve in the I it never gets old looking at it, I'm up to 12 die matches so far. Without Rob's book as a reference guide I don't think I would even taken on the task to try to die match.
The second picture of the DEI with the DC running through the DEI could you please post picture of the N in Regina and the N and D in Canada please I'd like to see them
Thanks for sharing Viper

PS: Thanks DEVLEC it's good to have friends like you

I found this coin at the Brampton Coin Show I paid 15.00 for it, the Die Match is Obv O2U- A9 2% the Rev R1N-A6 0% the coin is two worn to get clear pictures of the D in DEI and D in Canada to show the markers. On leaf 16 it does have a DC the DC between leaf 1 & 2 is really faint,I hope one day to find a better grade.

That's the trick question I would say it depends on the grade you collect the higher the grade the tougher to find. I would like say not that hard to find, I could be wrong but not many people die match the 1890 it's a labor of love and the markers can be challenging to match. For me I love them, you could have the rarest coin in the world, but if your the only collecting it then it's not worth much

Don the Die Match for this coin is
Obv O2U-A3 8% Rev R1N-A1 18%
I need you to look at Leaf #13 look for a small DC that starts at the vine and runs down from the vine into the right side edge of the leaf,it could be very faint and hard to see.I tried looking at the Rev picture of your coin, when I zoom in to close it gets to blurry to see, it looks like there is something there without a better picture I can't confirm what that is.
I have 3 of these coins and all 3 have a slightly different RP I in DEI I hope I have helped you out Don please feel free to contact me if you need help on any other 1890. I may not always have the answer, but will do my best to find it for you.
Happy Hunting
