Does the coin have a cartwheel or any kind of luster, not shine, but luster in the light?

You just might be getting hooked! Silverstackerkid, If your wondering if it has any luster breaks, you can see clearly in picture #4 going down (2nd pic of reverse) a large luster break in the motto E Pluribus UNUM

ok, the sun is setting and in full force here on the shores of lake michigan. I watched a youtube video of cartwheeling and as per my luck, didn't really see it. It did about blind me with it's shine however!!!

TY Joseph. 65+ would have been much sweeter, but still a super nice coin!
Rest in Peace

I am trying to get better at grading --- so I'll jump in and say AU55 because the pattern on the headband is still very clear.

I used PCGS photograde and I am still learning. Perhaps the scratch knocks the grade down to 50.

Also: Go Cubbies!

It looks lightly polished in the images and has AU detail. These are tough to grade and often found cleaned/polished so don't fret about a light cleaning/polishing.

Looks AU-53 for detail and the color plus lack of original luster suggest it's probably been lightly cleaned. Similar common-date Indians seem to sell on ebay for $400-425 or so; you shouldn't have any trouble selling it in that range if that is your plan.

the deep scratched are what would make this a detail coin. I see luster breaks in the motto, however I am guessing this coin to be of original color and somewhat original luster. Keep in mind guys, he is new to the coin community so he would be very far from the plateau of taking proper pictures with proper lighting. You can see in some of the pics, he has a light directly on the coins. Anyone who has seen a pre33 gold coin that has been cleaned under a direct light knows how much worse it would look if harshly cleaned.

Just took a few more pics w/o any lights on and it's dark and cloudy outside. May get a better more natural view if the coin? Thanks to Copperpennyconnection for bringing that to my attention (sun was shining yesterday).
