nicelytoned, you stated, Quote: EF45-Eliminated Fields 45 or depending on where it's sent, a possible Mostly Scratched 61. Not sure where you are coming up with these terms Check the Glossary in the upper left to learn definitions. Then you state, Quote: I was kidding guys-I had it graded at MS61 for Mostly Scratched CCF is based on the goal to help people learn. Not sure where you are coming from?

52, It may be but, would a new person see this? The OP is a newer person here to CCF. Humor yes but, a learning tool?

Thanks Raymo and Mike.
The intent wasn't to mess with anyone-just hoped we could have some fun coming up with new numismatic terms when grading an obviously hideous coin.

Do yourself a favor and stay away from fairtraderz. I notice mostly all his coins are cleaned, whizzed and look lousy. there are plenty of nice coins on e-bay. just keep searching.

I bought a nice au 1875-S 20 cent piece from fairtraderz for 200. Not whizzed or lousy looking but a nice type coin.

I doubt if a TPG would grade it, because it is too 'detailed'. It nevertheless has value. As such, about EF45, not considering the details. Perhaps this one could be bought for a bargain, well below EF45 price. If it can't be picked up cheaply, don't bother.

Yeah, I suppose FairTraderz is trying to tug at the heart-strings with some of his seated quarters-reminds me of a dog pound...."Pick me because I've had a truly rough life and need a good home."

Coins do not appeal to my emotions like a needy dog would.
