It does have some value, just not numismatic. You can file the edges to a knife and use it as a throwing coin, or use it as a paperweight for small things on your desk. You can also toss it into a wishing well, and wish that all of the Chinese and Russian counterfeiters should burn in Hades for eternity. Perhaps, if nothing else, you can drill a hole near the top and use it as a sinker weight and tie it through some fishing line. It's certainly shiny enough that it would sparkle as well as any Rapala.
That's all in jest. Don't be offended. It's unfortunately counterfeit and I hope that you are not heavily invested in its acquisition.

If you didn't know if was fake before then you do now. Welcome to the boards and return that as quick as you can. If you have any issues trying to return it then email me with the contact information of the person you purchased it from and let me give them an ear full.
Again, welcome... you're in the right place.

Below are some photos of a real 1799 graded VF Details, so you can compare. As you can see from the photos, the coin you posted in not real.

I knew immediately from the title that this was a fake. "1799 liberty coin" So basic, sounds like those ebay listings from China that are so basic and then are always selling counterfeits. I'm sure there's not many genuine 1799 US dollars in Malaysia, buddy. Hope you get a refund.
