I love the details and sharpness of this IHC. but it's 100% questionable color.
What a shame.

Thanks, everyone. I'm going to send it back.

It's good to know that I'm getting better at spotting cleaned and/or recolored coins.

The coin looks way too clean not to have any luster. Could be a problem getting PCGS to grade it. The fields look very nice but as a cleaned coin, it is about half the value of a coin that has not been messed with.

Actually so much depends on how much? If cheap enough, I'd buy that one but again, only if cheap enough.

I am not sure it has been harshly cleaned. Those striations could be from an improperly mixed planchet. I see these often enough. The difference is if the striations go all the way to the raised devises on the coin. If they do then they are a natural part of the coin. If there is a gap between the end of the striations and the devises then I would say it was probably whizzed. I'm seeing some luster in this coin, but the color does seem off. Though, not as much as most that I have seen.

I agree with carl , maybe we can soak it in a little Chinese soy sauce to get it a nice chocolate color !

The coin has been returned and I have my refund.

I shared some of your comments with the seller explaining why I think it was cleaned.
