NICE FIND!

Looks AU to me. Don't rush off on trying to conserve the coin now! TIME TO HIT THE BRAKES! Show us more pictures of the reverse first. We need to evaluate the issue FIRST before just jumping in. This is a coin worthy of careful conservation....if any at all.

Wow, nice find

I agree with BadThad on the conservation efforts: we need better pics!

I'm on the XF-AU fence. I think the reverse would keep this in XF, but with a little TLC who knows?

Ok guys

I didn't get a chance to do any soak so I havnt touched the coin since the photos I took the other day ...

For some reason or another the past couple days anytime I would even attempt to post here on CCF my phone would freeze up ..
Today everything seems fine , strange not sure what was wrong ..

I will try and see if I can get a few better photos , I have a tough time getting decent shots of cooper with only a phone ..

Are these pics without a soak? Looks almost better haha. That should come right off.

That's funny as I thought the same thing , it hasn't been touched though ...

I seen where Bad Tad advised against anything until looking over better pics , so I'm kind of just waiting...

I still can't see what the residue on the reverse by the E in ONE is. Try using stronger light. Going on what I can tell, looks like removing that reverse stuff is going to leave a bright spot on the coin. You might just want to leave it alone.

These things always make me ponder. Clearly it hasn't been circulating for the last 94 years, and hardly circulated at all. Then suddenly it's in a convenience store till.
