2016 Natick And Gilbert Experimental Note Census Wanted

You would think the very thing PAPER money is printed on (PAPER) would be a bigger deal. But alas, the overall paper money collector community doesn't give this brief, alternate source of security paper much attention. I'm guessing, without being accompanied by a Gilbert pamphlet or leaflet, a 1963A G-G or G-B note does not have any collector value.

I'm currently in negotiations with Tom for his stash of G-G notes found in the Gilbert Paper Company administration building. I'm hoping to get them for historical preservation, and not for profit.

Without being able to purchase both the series 1963 Gilbert C-A Block note and series 1963A G-G note found in Gilbert's Safe, I gave up on my idea on how to provide the necessary proof required to show the notes found in Gilbert's Safe was printed on Gilbert Stock...
I spent about $150 while waiting to purchase the above two Gilbert notes, purchasing a number of high grade raw Star notes from both series 1963 C-* & 1963A G-* Notes, as I believe with the amount of Currency Stock delivered by Gilbert to the BEP (and knowing Natick Star replacement notes had been printed on Natick Test Paper 6 years after Gilbert's Test Paper), I believe one or more Star (replacement) Runs may have been printed on Gilbert Paper..

Without having the Gilbert Sample C-A pamphlet note, everything else is useless.

I also believe that the series 1977A 8,000 Sheet Run of $10.00 E-* notes were printed to replace and defective E-B $10 notes, and have been searching for examples from each of the 14 Runs the BEP printed the same month they printed the Star notes.. I do have 3 Natick Notes available and can use one for forensic testing should I obtain some of the E-B $10 notes.

I recently reactivated my SPMC membership after letting it expire almost 20 year's ago, and posted 2 Blogs, for Natick & Web-Press Overprint Errors. If there is interest in either of those 2 Census's, I can post them here on CCF.

If I didn't already have, I'd be all over this. It's already at twice auction estimate.
