After the first couple of times of dealing with them I now just pop the the insert out and give it a little push from the back. But I guess that's just taking the easy way out Now the 4 coin Kennedy K13 set..those were the worst I have seen to get out.

Bummer about not being able to get the coin out. I hope you can figure out something that will work.
My Kennedy K13 set was almost impossible. I won't get into the horror story of how I finally popped them free, just keep in mind that I have a lot of tools at my disposal. There was no damage to the coins.

I'm in the group that didn't love the Kennedy set packing either. Gave up on the second day of trying. I knew I was getting into the 'solve it with a hammer' mentality, which never ends up good.

The P pucks are the same way. Tricky little devils to get out for sure. I usually flip and push or use a flathead jewelers screwdriver using a fulcrum & lever method

I finally pried it out with a letter opener, and I managed to avoid any noticeable damage to the capsule or case. This is a great coin; very happy with it.

Indeed.
And I do like the different frost levels of the reverse. I highly recommend.

Finally opened mine. Indeed it is a spectacular proof front and back. Too bad it is small, it would not look out of place as a $20 double eagle 1oz gold coin. Funny thing was it just popped out of the holder without any forcing.

Agreed - this would make a spectacular 1-oz-sized coin. Glad you were able to get yours out easily, Muscles.

I've had great success using paper clips to remove the capsules coins from the OGP. Just work at it slowly and go side to side. Use a small one or large one depending on the size of the coin. I got my Kennedy's out easy using this method. The curved tip of the paper clip keeps it from scratching the capsul.

Thanks for the suggestion, Bret. I'll give that a go.

I have never had a problem getting the capsules out of the holders... must be all those years of playing guitar. (strong fingers)
