Quote:For the empty holes at the end of this Volume, I decided to fill them with Two 40% Bicentennial Ike dollars. One - Because I think the modern Commemoratives started with the Bicentennial coins of 1975 - 1976. Two - Just another good place to put two Ike dollarsThree - Because it is my album and I will do as I wish Oh .. and because Jbuck might like it You are darn tootin'! Excellent looking album. I wish you good luck on that final hole.

Very nice! Always cool to look at a complete album and appreciate the effort it took to fill it.
You should be able to get the Columbus for a good price - there are plenty of them out there!
Happy hunting!

Quote: You should be able to get the Columbus for a good price - there are plenty of them out there! Your right ... one will come along. There out there for $25 to $30 ... I just feel if I hold out, I will get one for $15 to $20. In fact I stopped at a LCS when I went out to lunch. They ask me to get them list of the coins I still need, and they will try to get me a good deal on the ones I need.

Quote: "Work", right. Heck Yea .. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night, just to check for any good deals on ebay .... This is just the first album of four ... To complete all four, I still need 40+ more coins .. Also . having to figure out what to do with those two unlabeled holes at the end of each album...... That is a lot of sleepless nights .....

What is dansco doing for the baseball commems? Honestly, that's one thing which has kept me from looking at the dansco albums for my commems. It would drive me nuts to have one coin left out

Quote: That is a lot of sleepless nights ..... But totally worth it. Quote: What is dansco doing for the baseball commems? I do not expect them to do anything. What can they do? It would have to be on its own extra thick page.

Another fine group of coins! What to do with the two open holes, well knowing you you have some duplicate commerative dollars or add a Morgan and a Peace dollar.
