CONGRATS!
Real nice DDO.

* Check out the Cherry-pickers Guide- 5th Edition, Vol II. ( 2012). Pg 299.

Your coin looks like it could very well be the FS-50-1964-102 (CONECA: DDO-007)

Please dis-regard.
* This is for a 1964P- MY MISTAKE!

I'll check CONECA...the 007 is also listed as an RPM-001, pretty certain this coin does not have a re-punched mm. I'll check and see. Thank you.

FS-50-1964D-105 (013.5) CONECA: DDO-005* This is a Quadrupled Die Obverse.

It appears closest to the FS-50-1964D-104 but not a match...?

Is there any doubling in the hair below the R in LIBERTY? If so, it looks like you might have a DDO-009.

Once James Wiles gets his eBook completed for Kennedy varieties, it will help collectors ID what they have. Several varieties and all of the RPM are currently posted: http://www.varietyvista.com/12%20Ke...es/index.htm

I think Tim is correct...it looks like the 64D DDO-009. Attached is a photo of the marker Tim described.

Wow! A kennedy variety book would be AMAZING! Can't wait for that!

Congrats on the find! :)

I have a bunch of silver halves that show doubling on "WE". Is that common? I'll have to post some pictures.

The motto is probably the first area to search for hub doubling on the Kennedy halves. The 1964-D DDO-003 has the triple die and the RPM on the mint mark on the reverse.
