Ok thanks! I was just curious--I don't plan on selling it any time soon.I have coin books and coins like these are always mentioned. I never thought I would actually own one lol

Your welcome and no doubt that's a great find and one I'm still looking for myself also to the forum and keep us posted if you do decide to send it in for grading

I'm going to have to save up my money lol-I don't own a single slabbed coin-most of my coins I've found--with a few exceptions--I certainly will though

The spots would be the thing that would affect the grade of your coin.

Yeah I agree--sadly there's nothing I can do about it since I can't clean it anyway. But I don't care,it only cost me a penny

Lol actually they have this enormous change jar and the person who is in charge of all the money is a coin collecter as well (coincidence?) And was kind enough to let me go through it he said to look for wheat pennies lol--- I actually did find a 1910 penny that was a nice little surprise. I just threw a ten dollar bill in to make up for all the coins I kept

I was just curious how popular/rare would this coin be? Is there demand for this coin or no? I was just wondering because it's always mentioned in coin books and seems pretty popular, but I don't a lot of them sold on ebay, thought I might try to revive this thread lol

Lol that's what I thought too but I just thought it was strange because It doesn't sell for very much(of course I know it's worth a lot considering its a penny) does anyone know the population of this coin?

Probably a full run for that die. About 1,000,000 coins (aprox).
