Thanks coop for conferming it , but I see that for pair #1 it can be weak D or not D , how can I tell short of sending it to get autentiqueted? Dustin I don't think I'll get slabbed yet. .At that bank they always save for me rolls of coins whenever they are deposited by older people ,and I got lucky with one of those rolls.

Old, old Grandpa forgot he was a coin collector, and just took his coins to the bank?

Nss-52, I bet that's what happened, nobody as claimed at the bank so far.

Here is their description: Die Pair #1: The easiest way to classify Die Pair #1 is the Jogging Die Crack running from L in Pluribus through O in One. However, this die crack is not always present. Also, be aware that there exists a 1922 D variety with a straight die crack in the same location. The second 2 in date is weaker than the first 2. The first T in Trust is more distinct than the other letters. Furthermore, the T, U, and T in TRUST are stronger than the R and S. WE is very mushy. Reverse is very weak, usually with no lines in the wheat ears. Mintmark ranges from Weak to No D. I don't see a weak 'D' on your coin. So it is probably the later die state where they polished out the mint mark. (a case of over polishing removing the mint mark. the mint mark was there when the die was fresh)

Quote: Old, old Grandpa forgot he was a coin collector, and just took his coins to the bank? As an Old Grandpa I would like to take offense at that statement, but I can't remember why and besides, it's nap-time...

This would be the next legendary find after the 1955 doubled die years ago from coin roll hunting if this is real! You should try to get this graded in by PCGS or NGC!
