It looks like there is wear/abrasion on liberty's hair so I am guessing AU55/58 But pretty much impossible to make even a rough grade from your images. Try taking an image directly above the coin so that the entire coin is in focus

13 pics so far. Perhaps this will be better.

Assuming it graded MS I would say 63. If there are rubs then it would be a AU++.

Lots of little tics all over surfaces. Maybe it will make MS-63 but I would buy it as an MS-62.

sorry digger, the pics are not clear enough to accurately provide a grade on this piece. it could be anywhere from MS62 to MS65. it appears to be a decent strike so thats a plus but the haziness through the slab may be masking any issues or may result in a lower grade than it deserves.

This 1928 peace is graded at ms 64. There are very few minute hits and the luster is high. I have seen a few graded 63's but this one is far above what I have ever seen. A remarkable coin. Thanks for your opinions.

Quote: 1928 peace opinions please. Could it grade better? No, at MS64 that coin maxed out. Generously maxed out IMO.

I just saw this ... I was thinking MS 64 when seeing latter pictures. MS 64 is a good grade for this coin ..... leave it in the holder

The photos probably exaggerate the bagmarks but PCGS MS-64 still seems generous. I certainly wouldn't attempt an upgrade.

Agree keep it in the holder....64 was a gift. I still think it's a 63 when looking. Maybe they gave it a bump cause it's a key date or because it looks like it's in a older generation holder. I don't know honestly.
