In 1917, the mint mark could be found on the obverse or the reverse for Walking Liberty halves; this San Francisco minted example has the mint mark on the obverse. How would you grade her?

Me: G/AG

As much as I would like to say G4, based on detail.

When the rims are worn into the letters, I would have to say AG 3

I think it just squeaks out a Good-4. Pleasing surfaces make this a nice coin for a low-grade circulated set.

A prime example of why "AG3.5" should be a true grade.
