I am aware that these small gold coins have a larger premium attached to them, but unfortunately, this was all that I could afford.

Congrats on your first gold piece, hopefully this is just the start of a long, fun, educational journey into collecting gold coins. As others said, its ADDICTIVE, when it comes to gold, more so than silver, at least for me. I first started with 1/10 pieces and then migrated to half and 1 ounce coins, so watch out, before you know you will be wanting to size up lol. However, I do like the idea of 1/10 pieces for doing a run, I have in the past collecting 1/10 gold coins from world mints and lately been thinking of doing a complete run of 1/10 ounce gold pandas, thus making it easier to collect and fitting it into my collecting budget without knocking me off my other gold coin collecting path. I really love the eagle landing, the whole family together. I love how it looks on the 1 oz gold coin. Anyways, happy gold collecting!

Congratulations on you first gold. Feels good does't it. Felt the same way when I got my first piece. All gold is nice especially when you can afford it!

Maybe you should try some circulating gold coins especially the early 20th century ones. Some really beauties and the common ones are not so expensive plus you have a real piece of history. All the eagle type coins of early 20th century are fantastic IMO. Your is a copy of the Saint-Gaudens $20 gold.

Very nice indeed.
Is the 1/4 oz the next on your list?

Plus if your teeth go bad you can have your dentist use your gold coins as gold teeth. Dentists used to actually do this when gold was available at banks.

Congrats. I felt the same way when I added the national parks gold coin to my collection, which was my first gold and celebrates one of USA's greatest accomplishments. My coin hasn't proven to be that popular, but at the very least it is gold and is a nice design.

Congrats on the gold! Haven't made that plunge yet myself-- you inspire me to check out some 1/10th gold!
