also, here is another one, the very next order number,so probably the same person submitting the coins. Loads of high end Peace dollars. The $11k MS65+ 27-d has a picture included.

These surely could not have been in an actual roll with each coin touching the other? It would seem that even delicate contact would be too much to maintain such grades.

Of course not. I was just playing with the fact that many "unbroken" rolls of Morgans on ebay are described as BU++++, GEM, UNC+ and whatnot in their descriptions

WOW, I just looked up the order numbers adjacent to the ones I just listed, which would make it plausible that it would be the same submitter. We are talking about waaaay over 100k in high end Morgans...

There have been rumors for a couple of weeks that some of the top NGC Registry Set owners might jump ship for PCGS as a protest against NGC's change to their Registry policies. I wonder if what we're seeing here is a giant crossover.

That might a reason, but who in the world would own over 20 1881-S MS67-68s? someone could run more than one set at NGC I guess...
I'm just blown away by some of the coins...

If these were truly from an ebay roll it makes me want to try to win one. One could easily recoup their money after grading. Sadly, I don't have the money nor especially the luck for this to actually happen.

Remember the rolled morgans never came from the mint that way, and the earliest coin rollers were patented in the 1920s. All original morgans were bagged 1,000 coins in canvas bags.
