Out of curiosity - I see some hairlines to the right/behind Liberty - are they from cleaning or caused by something else in one of you all opinion?

AU-55. Perhaps once cleaned and now re-toning?

AU55 and no call on the originality of the color and surfaces except that I would consider it questionable.

Agree, the colors do not look natural here, nor would they on an uncirculated example.

Broken-Coin...You are correct. This was in the lot I bought from you. I was going to mix it in with the rest of my 90% halfs but just couldn't do it with this one. AT or not I still like the look of it.

I am in the AU53-55 camp on this one.

@Connor

1st, thanks for your purchase as it secured more money then needed for the error note I bid on.. Also curious what your thoughts were as you unpacked the silver coins..

2nd, your purchase was part of what I called my "Not so Junk, Junk Silver" that I had set aside when Spot was around $45 a ounce, and would sell it at Spot when it reached $50..

I considered these as still collectable, and 100+ year old silver belongs in the collector market instead of the melting pot..

All coins are original and any artificial toning would have been done before I purchased them..

This was only part of the original Silver that was set aside, others included B/U 1950's - 1964 Quarters, in small paper envelopes that I guess are over 40 years old..
Some of them have Toning, attractive and unattractive, and if I come across any of the photos, I'll post them..

The Merc. Dime in the holder may be Uncirculated and I think it's full split band's, or very close..

Good Luck finding a home for the "BIE" LWC's, the one part of giving Coins to younger collectors that I miss since closing my coin business "Brier Ridge Coin" about 10 years back..
