AU 58 - The leaves on the reverse are showing slight wear or circulation rub and the E in dime took a hit and the rim ding.

My guess would be MS-64. The surfaces look very nice on the obverse and not quite as good on the reverse due to some microscopic roughness in the " Half Dime" area. This piece was probably dipped and was one of the "lucky coins" that got got some attractive toning on "its way back."

I'm in at either AU58 or MS63, cant tell from the photos which but either way that coin is a beaueaty. edit it could be pushing 65

the rim issue appears to be a planchet flaw possibly due to an impurity. since it is minor and unobtrusive I dont think it would receive a DAMAGE designation. I think the coin has been dipped in the past as I dont see any signs of remaining luster in any of the crevices. there are some hairline scratches on the reverse surfaces and a few on the obverse that are quite minor in nature and covered by toning. there is a possibility that the coin saw some light circulation or that they came from banging around with other coins early on. I'm going with the banging around premise with this one and not circulated. I can see why slider23 thought there may be wear on the leaves, however, when you look closely at them they appear to be rounded and not flat which to me says the coin is circulated. I'm at MS63 and it may see a details designation for improper cleaning. my personal opinion is its market acceptable.

PCGS gave her an AU58. It was crossed by the previous owner from a NGC MS62.
