Too bad it's wrinkled & dirty, but I would put it in a currency sleeve ASAP! to keep it from further damage. Yes has value, but not as much as a crispy critter...  |

Outstanding serial! The "B" bookends make this guy extra special. I do agree with Crazyb0 about the condition... it will detract significantly from value but I still think you can get a substantial premium if you wish to sell. It's definitely got some circulation wear but it's not that bad. Get it in a protector. I'm torn on recommending sending it in for grading given its condition. Oh, and  to CCF! Edited by CelticKnot

I've heard of Super Radar and Super Repeater, but not Super Solid.
It's cool that the prefix and suffix letters match, AND that the note is for the 2nd District.
Uncirculated versions sell for $900-$1,200, so yours might fetch $300-$400 to the right buyer.

Your note will bring good money at a major currency auction.
Even in worn condition I would expect it to bring at least $1000 if the right buyers show up!
Solid 2's are very popular!

Thanks for all the welcomes! Yes, it was found in circulation by my dad a number of years ago. He put it in an envelope for me with a note that said, "Maybe it will sell on ebay, if not, spend it!" I kept it in that envelope for all those years. I became widowed unexpectedly recently and was organizing some belongings and came across it again. I appreciate the insight. |

I also agree with Mr.Frog and CelticKnot, and would put it a Mylar currency sleeve or have it graded by a TPG and save it as a memento from your father. The most valuable solids are nine's followed by eight's, seven's and one's. |
