I have it at vf20. Horn is almost gone. $75.

That is an awful strike on that coin. Looks like it still has some nice mint lustre though, so I'd give it an AU50.

VF30. Agree there is a weak strike going on here, if it had a fuller horn an easy ef40

Yes, a split grade coin. Weak reverse holds it to low VF - only a 20 for my money.

I'd go VF-30 net due to that reverse. Not a fan of weak horn buffalos.

Me neither. This reverse dooms this coin to low VF money, imho.

Very weakly struck but amount of actual wear appears to be EF-45.

This coin was graded at F-12 by ANACS. It is currently being offered for ~$58 - about the same as other VF20 graded samples. It has a generally nicer appearance than the VF20 graded ones but that horn - as others have said - is really hurting it. I am looking for one similar to this but I may wait due to the reverse issues. Of course that'll likely mean the cost goes up so I kinda torn. Any opinions welcome but thanks for your responses here.

Seems like an ok price if you dont mind the horn. Looks good otherwise.

I would agree, details are vf but the weak reverse, esp. horn really detracts from final grade, unless you are looking for a cheap '16-D I would wait for one with a better strike
