I will give ya face value for it! Errr... but, You should try to keep it, that is one thing that you might look back when you are older, and regret selling it. When I was younger, I never figured myself to become a coincollecter (and note collector ) but you never know, selling this note might only be worth 50 to 60 dollars, but it increases in value everyday. That is just something cool that you could pass on to your grandchildren some day... It was a really good find tho! Nice Job!

Cool find Jeremy, If you wanted to sell it on ebay just have your parents make an ebay account that you can use with their permission. I to am too young to have my own ebay account because I am 16. I would hold on to the $50 bill, its pretty cool. -PP

I have the "Official Blackbook Price Guide to United States Paper Money" and according to that:
ABP= $60 VF= $100 UNC= $300
It is tough to tell from the pictures but is at least the $60 and depending on the buyer MAY bring in $100.

Dude! That was a bad deal. I think you will look back on this later in life as a learning experience. I had a sweet coin collection when I was a young person like yourself and lost it do to needing the money too. My collection today is still impressive but I sure wish I had those old coins today.

Oh darn, that sounded harsh. I have been there. Everyone has needed money at times in there life and need to sell of items that are valuable at a loss or the break even point. Next time try to hang on to it.

The adjusted inflation value makes a differenance. With the 5 percent inflation, in 12 years from now it will have double the price, though the money willl have a lesser value.
Grace, that was the total profit I made, $60, after all the "fees".

I think you were right to sell the bill. Small sized paper money doesn't usually have a high value unless it's in CU or near CU condition. I kept a 1934 $100 bill about 25 years ago. Today, I could probably get about $125 for that bill. If I'd invested that $100 wisely at even 5% annual return, it would be worth about $250 now.
