Congrats! You clearly have a good eye since many of your pre-25 coins have strong dates. Not easy to find in that series! Also that 1920 P looks like a strong strike with full (?) rivets on the shield and distinct sash.

That's a beautiful circulated set of SLQ's you put together, congratulations! I love how evenly worn they all are, that's a tough goal to accomplish!

This is awesome!! If I didn't somehow obtain self control over the past year, I'd certainly start this set today from seeing this. Luckily, I've stopped the impulse buying of albums based on seeing others completing a set. I've got a few that I need to shed this summer bc I don't have the budget or desire to allocate the $$ needed to fill them. I could see this one in my future once I weed out some of the others.

Thank you all! Just ordered a 7070 this morning so that will keep me busy for awhile.

Close but no cigar, you have to complete the set with that 1916!

Nice. I have a 23-S in EF condition and that sucker cost me $1300. I have been looking for a VF-EF 1927-S. Perhaps I will get it. Most of the LSQ's in G to F condition are pretty cheap. When you get to VF and beyond on certain date/mint coins you get the burn. I have a couple of mint common SLQ's and they are beautiful and not expensive. It gives you an idea of what they looked like in all their glory with deep luster. It takes some guts to really go for a full set of these coins just like Morgans or any gold coin. If you have some nice examples in 20 years they may appreciate.

I bet there are much fewer than 52,000 1916 LSQ's in existence but they always seem to be available. If you have $6500 you can get one with a readable date, maybe.

A wonderful set! If I was you I would stick a type 1 reverse in the pesky 1916 slot.
