I'm not seeing anything even remotely close to a DDR on the OP's coin. No disrespect intended to Wexler's or anyone else but there has to be a point were the the anomaly is so so miner it should not be recognized as anything but that.

Jasper62, lol it is a DDR. If it got listed on doubleddie.com, then it is a DDR. Just accept what it is.

Like I said I don't mean to offend anyone but if I don't see it with my own eye's (key point) then I'm not just going to agree with everyone just to appease them. Wexler can say it's a DDR all day long but I don't have to agree with his assessment even tho he's the expert. If I don't see it, I don't see it

I still disagree with you jasper62, but everybody is entitled to their own opinion.

Most doubled die are minor forms and the discovery goes without major attentions, only the real error and varieties specialists appreciate it, of the already discovered doubled die and rpm that has been published. I found that most collectors wouldn't be able to distinguish the difference between the normal strike and the doubled strikes, you'd need multiple magnification to confirm it and most still can't tell much of a differences, depending on the type of doubling.

The EPU is not part of the DDR. It is the area below that area on the stripes area: 2012 1¢ WDDR-003 Quote:
Description: Doubling shows between the 7th and 8th vertical stripes of the shield. Die Markers: Obverse: None significant. Reverse: None significant. Submitted By: Tanner Scott Cross References: None known

Coop, do you like that 2012 1 cent DDR? I do and I'm trying to find my own example of it for my collection.

I am trying to find one as well. I have not found that exact one yet but have found 4 or 5 die pairs that are similar for 2012. There is hope because I still have 3 or 4 thousand more 2012s to go through.

Since you two are looking for 2012 WDDR-003, I'm going to help with the die markers I've noticed: (I should also mention I have two WDDR-003's ) Long die crack on the top left of the shield with a die chip above the you in PLURIBUS. Die crack on Lincoln's forehead. Die gouge left of the first T in TRUST.

Thanks. I have updated my Wexler files with that information. When I submit a coin to Mr Wexler I always list out all of the die markers for him. Most of the time he uses them.

So far, I had no luck at all. I didn't find 2012 1 cent WDDR-003 yet.
